Rosebank Community Inc AGM Aug 27

Notices of motion to change the Rosebank Community Inc Constitution at its forthcoming Annual General Meeting at the Rosebank Hall on Monday August 27 commencing at 7pm.

I have received two notices of motion, both moved and seconded by financial members of the association. In accordance with Item 31 of the Constitution, I hereby give 21 days notice of the proposed changes.

Resolution 1 -
Proposed Alan Davies,
Seconded Joan Davies

That the current Rules of RCI lodged with the Department of Fair Trading (Model Rules) be amended to those attached in the Document entitled ‘Rosebank Community Incorporated Draft Constitution Tabled AGM 2007’.

Resolution 2 -
Proposed Alan Davies,
Seconded Garth Kindred

That the current Rule 41 which states:
‘41. Service of notices
(1) For the purpose of these rules, a notice may be served on or given to a person:
(a) by delivering it personally, or
(b) by sending it by pre-paid post to the address of the person, or
(c) by sending it by facsimile transmission or some other form of electronic transmission to an address specified by the person for giving or serving the notice.’
Be amended to include the following means of serving a notice.
(d) by publishing notice in the Village Journal with sufficient notice from publication date to meet the requirements of the constitution.

They are:
1. The existing constitution
2. The proposed constitution
3. A document that compares the two documents and shows any differences in color.
