Mind Bending Politics

“For our reforms to endure, the whole mood, mind and attitude of the nation must be permanently changed” (Fabian Society Centenary Dinner, 1984 – Bob Hawke)

Australia, the lucky country, was second to none in potential for economic prosperity if elected management worked toward that end. Brainwashing mind games were not a part of the deal to merit Political Party election.

Australian economic ‘failure’ is reflected in Prime Minister Rudd’s request to world leaders, in a recent overseas visit, to appeal to American President Obama to take us into a new world order, a subject never broached here in the mainstream media, which bears out G.K. Chesterton’s words;

“Journalism is a false picture of the world thrown upon a lighted screen in a darkened room so that the real world is not seen.”

Out of the frying pan of Fabianism’s mind altering drug of deception, into the fire of a cooked up ‘global financial crisis’, leaders avoid the simple solution of scripture’s guiding light of debt cancellation after seven years. Will Tony Abbott fill the service oriented leadership void?
