Lismore Lantern Parade 2010

Winter Warmers and Market DeLight

The chill of Autumn is in the air, the iconic Lismore Lantern Parade is drawing near and the event organisers are looking for local market stalls that make, bake or grow their own produce. Stallholders who live and work in the Northern Rivers Region will have priority. Ideally stalls will include arts crafts, community promotion, demonstrations and fair trade products.

“We are looking for people interested in participating in the Market DeLight” said Festival Director Jyllie Jackson “for the best possible chance to be a part of the 2010 Lismore Lantern Parade stall holders should go to our website at www.lanternparade.com and download an application form.” Registrations close Friday 18th June 2010.

Local Charities and Community Groups are invited to participate in the Winter Warmers Project situated at Riverside Park. Since their inception the Winter Warmers have raised over $50,000 for local community organisations sell hot food to festival goers. Local Community Groups interested in this excellent fundraiser should call Robyn on 66886452. The Lismore Lantern Parade and it members support local C.B.D and Winter Warmer outlets and thus no commercial food vans will be allowed on site.
